18 Oct Treat Your Family to a Private Charter in Myrtle Beach!
When you’re going on a family vacation, you’ve got tons of options for entertainment in Myrtle Beach. Play some volleyball or build a sandcastle on the beach, enjoy some fresh seafood at a local restaurant, or take a stroll down the boardwalk and admire nature. But if you really want to treat your family while you’re in town, book a private boat charter!
Why Book a Private Charter?
There are plenty of Myrtle Beach eco-tours you can embark on, but most of these trips are public charters. Some vessels can hold 100 passengers or more, so you’ll have lots of other passengers on board with you. While you’re still bound to enjoy yourselves, a private charter offers more privacy and personalization than a standard charter.
On a private charter, your captain’s attention will be completely focused on you. You’ll be able to ask any questions you might have about the area, and your captain can point out specifically what you’re most hoping to see. Plus, you can relax and unwind in the company of your loved ones without having to accommodate other guests.
Your Dolphin Tour Options
Blue Wave Adventures offers multiple private charters for you to consider. First, we have the Tursi-Ops Private Dolphin Watch Charter. This tour lasts 1.5-2 hours and is available at six time slots throughout the day. You can bring up to 44 passengers to enjoy your excursion! You’ll get to take a trip through the Murrells Inlet Saltwater Estuary System and will travel along the coast to look for dolphins and other wildlife along the way.
We also offer an Osprey Premium Private Charter on our most impressive vessel, the Osprey. Your excursion will last 1.5 hours and will take you through the Murrells Inlet waters, providing the chance to see dolphins, turtles, sharks, and more! Depart at either 8:30 or 10:30 a.m. This vessel is more intimate than the Tursi-Ops, so up to 15 passengers can come along. For a longer journey, you can charter the boat and its captain for a half-day or full day trip.
What to Expect
Our private charters allow you to be in nearly total control of your trip. Your captain will lead you through the beautiful waters of Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach, but if you want to get closer to a sight or attraction, just let your captain know! They’ll also be there to answer questions and point out gorgeous scenery.
There are a few items you may want to bring with you on your trip. Consider packing sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen, a towel, a hat, and drinking water. Many guests also bring along or wear a bathing suit, as you might get wet along the way! Finally, for safety reasons, these charters are not recommended for children under age 3 or expectant mothers.
