21 May When is the Best Time to see Dolphins in Myrtle Beach?
Hello from the Blue Wave Adventures Crew
We are very excited about this upcoming 2017 summer season and wanted to take a minute to answer one of the questions we get very frequently.
When is the Best Time to see dolphins?
Here is your answer (in general, there are always days that defy the norm)
THE EARLIER, THE BETTER!
Our tours start at 8am and then run every 2 hours, demand and weather depending. Our predominant weather pattern on this coast is that wind and sea conditions get rougher after 2pm. This does not mean that the dolphins are not out there in the afternoon, but afternoon sea conditions make it much harder to spot them. Now, we know what your going to say….but I am on vacation and I don’t want to get up that early. WHY NOT? You are on vacation, come on get up, get out the door and onto you adventures of the day! Think about it, your back with a drink in hand, kids at the pool, and/or napping all before 2pm.
SEE YOU ON THE WATER!!
