Take a Day Trip from Myrtle Beach to Murrells Inlet

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the East Coast, and it’s not hard to understand why. Getting to Murrells Inlet

Luckily, it’s not hard to get from Myrtle Beach to Murrells Inlet. You’ll first want to make your way to US-17 BUS toward 5th Avenue North. Once you get onto 5th Avenue North, turn left onto N Oak Street. Turn left at the first cross street onto 4th Avenue North, then turn right onto US-17 BUS S. From there, simply drive 11 miles before taking a slight left to stay on US-17 BUS S. After that, just drive 2.2 more miles to get into Murrells Inlet!

Morning

The first thing you’ll want to do in Murrells Inlet is to take advantage of the cooler morning weather and book an eco-tour! Eco tours and things to do in nature are great morning options since the temperatures are cooler and the wildlife is typically more active during these hours. Finally, as the day is wrapping up, make your way to the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk. This destination is right in the heart of the village and offers a half-mile boardwalk with incredible views of the saltwater estuary nearby. You’ll find all kinds of mouthwatering restaurants for dinner with the family or welcoming bars for drinks with friends. Often, you can enjoy live music and other fun events before you head back to Myrtle Beach!
