How to Pop the Question on a Dolphin Tour in Myrtle Beach

There are many fun ways to pop the question and ask the love of your life to be yours truly forever. But have you ever thoughts about popping the question during a dolphin tour in Myrtle Beach? While your proposal will be unique and memorable, however, you do it, the team here at Blue Wave Adventures would love to help make your proposal one of a kind. So, if popping the question is on your list of things to do in Myrtle Beach this year, then keep reading for some tips on how to pop the question on a dolphin tour.

4 tips to make your Myrtle Beach dolphin tour proposal absolutely perfect

If you are thinking of proposing to the love of your life during an upcoming trip to Myrtle Beach, why not propose aboard the Tursi-Ops during a dolphin watch cruise? If that sounds good to you, be sure to check out our tips to ensure that your proposal goes off without a hitch!

1. Contact the Blue Wave Adventures staff in advance to make sure that there will be plenty of room about one of our dolphin sight-seeing vessels. We suggest you either call us at (843) 651-3676 or email us at info@bluewaveadventures.com. This will ensure that we are in on the planning and can help with the final last-minute details.

2. Weather in Myrtle Beach is generally warm, but it can really vary when you are out on the water, especially on a windy day. So, be sure to dress accordingly, and make sure that your special someone is dressed for the weather too. We always recommend that you wear a hat, and be sure to dress in layers too. And even if it is cloudy, be sure to wear sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Being prepared in advance by dressing appropriately will make your proposal day that much more enjoyable.

3. Remember that you will be proposing on a boat. If you work with our staff in advance, we’ll be sure to partner with you on the best moment for you to get down on one knee, but even if we have stopped moving, the boat will still be rocking based on the waves. This means that you must secure the ring and have a good grip on it during the proposal. The last thing you want is to donate your engagement ring to one of the dolphins in the water!

4. Know that you can make your proposal during a private dolphin watch charter if you prefer privacy vs. a proposal in front of others. Our private Myrtle Beach dolphin cruise will be aboard the OSPREY, our 30ft R.A.V.I. vessel uniquely designed for water activities. Not only will you have privacy when you ask the big question, but you’ll have excellent viewing of the dolphins during your 1.5-hour tour.

We can’t wait to be a part of your special day!
